I see the snow drift in your eyes
I can't see what's really happening
You fade down away from me
live a little lie, cut a deal in the void, a compromise
you're battered and torn down, those backless gowns
don't go nowhere, won't make a sound..
snowblind..
Into an electric chair we sit, we don't even care
thank them to receive, all must be believed
I can't take it one more time
Still, we rise
can we find a place for us?
Life is very strange we know
all that's goes to rust and gold.
From the sky, it's raining down
falling down on me, falling down on me..
snowblind..
And we never say what's on our minds
meant to suffer to learn time
never moves, just passing thru
we're passing thru, just passing thru.
Going all the way back to debut on BC; Sweden's Star Horse set themselves apart from the slew of dream-pop wannabees with their killer hooks and perfect harmonies.
"Kiss..." is single worthy; but Marybelle will get the "Gazers" attention with its hypnotic pace and phased guitars churning up a storm of sound.

Completes my Star Horse Collection.
Waiting for next FULL release! Agent K
Early foray by US Nu-Gazers that features blissed out melodies. Ghostly ethereal vocals mainly loom in the background trying to break into the atmosphere of phased guitar lines that frame & crash like waves on the surface of each tune.
Instrumental composition of most tracks hearken back to the heyday of Prime Shoe-Gazer Period of early 90's.
There is a comfortable familiarity with these trax timeless sonic architecture.

Hailing from the East (Kilbride), Helicon have mastered the art of layering guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and placing a sitar shaped cherry on top on this 2015 outing.... In A Sad Red Dusk. The b-side, We're Gaun Tae The Moon is a drums heavy dog walk through a Doors tinged wilderness, before they take the reigns and finish with a "neo-psyche" chase into the kaleidoscopic blackness ahead.
